In line with the expansion of our research in the economics of innovation and education and our co-operation with the LMU, we will be making a immediate appointment in our Department of Human Capital and Innovation:
As doctoral student, you will have the opportunity to write your dissertation in the field of economics at the Chair of Prof. Wößmann at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University. A further task is work on projects of the department in the empirical economics of innovation.
The successful candidate must have an excellent degree in economics. Proficiency in English and decent German are also necessary. Knowledge of empirical microeconomics is required, knowledge of industrial or innovation economics is desirable.
The position is for half of the normal working hours and pay is according to the German public service pay scale (TV-L). The contract is for an initial two years.
