Aplications are invited for a postdoctoral research associate position in the School of Mathematical Sciences at University College Dublin, to work on a project on the distribution, aggregation, chemotaxis and collective behavior of swimming organisms and cells in fluid flows.
Applicants should have, or expect to obtain, a PhD in a physical or mathematical science. Preference will be given to candidates with background and experience in one or more of the following areas: nonlinear dynamics, fluid dynamics/mixing/turbulence, computational modeling, mathematical modeling of biological systems.
The post is for 14 months, with the possibility of extension, subject to availability of funding.
