PhD Scholarships in Renewable Energy, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore

The School of Computer Engineering at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) is seeking applications for 2 graduate student (PhD) positions.
Candidates will work on a national grant-funded research project on low concentration, concentrating photovoltaic (CPV) systems. Specifically, your research will be focused on developing performance /cost models for solar concentrators which take account of the solar profile and other conditions in Singapore.

Requirements
At least a 2nd upper class B.Eng. Degree in the area of Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering (an additional masters degree will be an advantage)

Proficient in MatLab and C/C++
Fluent verbal and written communications in English
Strong analytical, mathematical and conceptual abilities
Able to work independently or in a team in the realization of R&D work
