M.Sc. program for students in Mining / Geotechnical Engineering, Mineral Processing, Recycling and Related Academic Studies.

The EMMEP master¢s course offers three different specializations:
European Mining Course (EMC)
Emphasis on mining, mineral economics and rock construction
European Mineral Engineering Course (EMEC)
Emphasis on mineral processing, extractive metallurgy and recycling
European Geotechnical and Environmental Course (EGEC)
Emphasis on geotechnical and environment aspects of mining and tunneling

The EMMEP consortium consists of six partner universities:

RWTH Aachen
Delft University of Technology
University of Exeter
Helsinki University of Technology
University of Miskolc
Wroclaw University of Technology
All of these universities are internationally oriented and provide excellent student services regarding things such as housing, welfare, language courses and social integration. The participating universities all have noted educational experience and a proven research record in the field of EMMEP, as well as strong links with the industry.
Application deadline
The application deadline for the Erasmus Mundus EMMEP Master is:

January 1, 2009 for third-country graduate students
April 1, 2009 for EU (EEA) graduate students
EMMEP will notify third-country graduate students upon their elegibility by March 1, 2009 and about their elegibility for a scholarship most likely by the end of April, 2009. EU (non third country) students will be notified about their eligibility by May 1, 2009.
